How can forward thinking help me make better decisions?
Making good decisions are the key to being successful in school, your job, college, and life period. In-order to make good decisions you must think before you which is thinking forward. Forward thinking helps you make your mind up, and puts you in the mind set of what you want to do instead of thinking at the moment and making the wrong decision. For example; In debate I use to run around and look for a case to run at the last minute, then think about different strategies during the debate. However, when I started to figure out my case and think of all my strategies before hand I noticed I made more progress in my debates. Thinking forward always help you finalize your decision in any situaation or scenario, it provides you with a conclusion and understanding of what your final decision is going to be. Thinking forward also helps you save the time that you would spend on trying to figure out evrything that needs to be focused on, and if you have time left over then you have another advantage based on your situation or scenario.

When is loyalty to myself more important than loyalty to a friend?
Loyalty is more important to yourself other than your friends because in-order to have loyalty for someone else you must stay commited to be loyal for yourself first. I think that most people try to take more care in somebody else to much rather than caring for themselves which can be a problem because if your to busy focused on somebody else you can't show the "loyalty" and care you need for you yourself as an individual. However, the vibe I am not trying to release is that people just shouldnt be loyal to anybody, what I'm trying to say is that you should want to treat yourself first before you choose to treat somebody else wioth an enourmous amount of loyalty. Also when you show loyalty to yourself then it shows that you can be loyal to anybody. In my mind you must be able to be commited to yourself to show commitment towards another person, so with all of this said I believe these are the following reasons why you must be loyal to yourself before you are loyal to another person.

How do I demonstrate that I am open-minded enough to learn from my experiences?
I think I demonstrate that I learn from my experience by dis-continuing every mistake that I have made. I fell that every mistake that I have made in life hasn't been made anymore, however I do think that I will make more mistakes in life as I go along but it doesn't mean I won't learn from them. For example, just yesterday I was late to class and the day before that, and my consequences were me losing credit and not being able to get into class. My lesson learned from that is that I need to make it to class on time and then I will be able to learn. Most students will still continue to be late because they have no care for school, but I do care about my education and the mistakes I make; which shows that I am open-minded enough to learn from my mistakes!

ACT Reading Test
I think that the reading test may be the easiest thing about the ACT. As I stated in my previous reflection I tend to lose focus when I take the test. Focus is the only issue I see that I have when taking the ACT. After taking so many practice test I found out that the material is really easy, but put in a difficult way. I also need to move quicker when I'm taking my test. I noticed I take all day answering question when the answer is right in my face. So basically I need to learn how to speed up the process when I'm taking the ACT and stay focused.

ACT English Test Reflection
I feel that it was helpful that Ms.Fuller alllowed us to take the ACT English portion. I now have an understanding on what is needed to pass the english portion of the test. However, I fee that I didn't get enough focus while taking the test. I understand that durig the real ACT that it will be silent, but I still feel as if we are taking a practice test that we should treat i like a real ACT test. I would like to know were I'm at on my ACT level but I can't figure it out if I'm not getting my complete focus. So with this being said I think that my strengths are that I understand the material and strategies in the english portion, and I now know my goal that I need to complete to pass the English portion. My weakness would be my focus level. I think if I stayd focused more then I can get more done. I tend to get easily destracted so I plan to work on staying focused.

Courage Shown by Characters in "The Illiad"
In “The Illiad” I noticed that all the characters showed courage which is their similarity, but their difference is that they all showed it in different ways. Some gods were courageous in good ways and bad ways; and I even think it sounds crazy but it’s true. It takes courage for someone to look after, defend, hunt, and try to steal or kill knowing that they have obstacles to go through before defeating their opponents. The gods with this type of courage doesn’t impress me at all but it entertains me while I’m reading. It also open up much more thought while I’m reading. As for the positive courage, I can appreciate their courage shown by them battling their enemy knowing it’s a matter of life and death. I was actually influenced by some of these gods due to their heroic actions. I might take their actions a little to serious but one thing I know the gods do whenever I read or watch anything about them it is that you should face your fears and defend what you honor or have very close to you. They also inspire me to make smart sacrifices in life due to their leadership shown. When I read about them I always try to relate what I do everyday to what the gods do during their time. I ask myself: Do I make smart sacrifices, am I brave enough to go on a journey and face my fears, can I achieve a goal that many tried to complete and has failed, can I be the ruler or king of success, etc. As I read or watch anything with the gods I always ask myself a large amount of question that compares my life with theirs. This is actually how their courage makes me react; it makes me think of what I’m doing right in my life. Even the negative courage helps me realize what I’m doing wrong. As I said earlier in my response the negative courage that some gods show open up much more thoughts. When I see a god like Atrides I try to ask myself do I show some of the attitude he shows. Atrides is selfish, arrogant, and he even tends to lead his people in a reckless way. I sometimes catch myself acting like this and I will immediately stop. I don’t want to be selfish nor arrogant, and I really don’t want to lead my peers in a reckless attitude because I will just be continuing what is already being done today by many. So with this said I think that the courage of all the gods mentioned in “The Illiad” has a bigger impact on me than others would think. Reading about the gods is something that helps me think outside the box much more than other pieces of reading. And I think the reason for this is that I find the gods much more interesting than anything in Greek times. I actually enjoy what they do and what they represent. I find their duties and courage interesting to read about. The god’s jus catches my attention and keeps me engaged into their every move. And I hope to read more about the gods and not just the gods in “The Illiad”.

WHAT INSPIRES COURAGE ?
I think that it shouldn’t take a lot for courage but it does takes a lot for someone to perform this task. First off let me start by saying that courage is the quality of mind or spirit that enables someone to face a difficult challenge or task without fear, and I believe that the three most things that enables courage is family, money, and fear. Yea I said fear because I have noticed even in my own personal experience that when you get so scared you just face your fears and like Nike JUST DO IT! I remember my first time doing presentations of learning; I was so nervous that it took courage for me to even stand in front of people I didn’t even know and present to them. So now I hope you understand why I say even fear can give you courage. However, in my mind when it comes to money and family there is NO FEAR! No matter what predicament or situation you’re in the act of courage just comes out of everybody. Just about everybody I know shows a lot of courage when there family member is in harms way. I also know just about anybody shows a lot of courage when their money is in jeopardy. I have seen people fight, argue, debate, etc. over nothing but five to twenty dollars.
